TransCard PhD Retreat

Each year, the TransCard students get the opportunity to network and present their work within the TransCard community. In addition to scientific talk and poster sessions by the students, the program consists of scientific presentations by invited speakers, as well as soft skills sessions and social events. In sum, the annual retreat is intense science combined with a lot of fun!

Annual Lecture Series Kick-off and Closing Events

At the beginning of each academic year, TransCard organizes a kick-off event, which is mostly a social networking get-together. After the last lecture in the summer, the students meet again for a Dinner & Movie event, at which Michael Gotthardt recapitulates the most important concepts covered in the lecture, and the best lecturer is awarded a prize.
